Passenger Traffic at John Wayne International Airport Soars

With a wealth of business conferences, events and concerts scheduled around Orange County, airline travel at John Wayne International Airport  paces for a hectic third and fourth quarter in 2013. John Wayne International Airport Statistics
Flight statistics in February 2013 jumped by 6.5 percent in comparisons to the previous year. There were 653,118 more passengers this year than the passenger traffic count of February 2012 at John Wayne Airport up from 613,201.

Meanwhile, following American Airlines Airport acquisition of US Airways, there is anticipation of additional arrivals and departures from SNA Airport.

More than 43 million visitors arrived in Orange County in 2012.

A report published in the Orange County Business Journal  indicated that last SNA Airport improved traffic by 3 percent, compared to a 2.9% increase at Long Beach Airport (LBA) and a 4.7% rise at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
