Orange County Airport Shuttles Convenience

Orange County Airport’s social media page tweets of positive feedback, compared with the complaints, rants and negative comments found on other airport social media pages. Yet, the County of Orange owned commercial service airport SNA presents frequent and leisure travelers a host of conveniences.

Flight tracking

Orange County Airport flight tracking app enables travelers to access flight tracking information while in transport to the airport. With flight delays and congestion around airport SNA, travelers should also check the website for the latest construction delays and detours.

Vehicle wash parking, washing and detailing

Local travelers heading out of town solve two purposes when they drive to the Orange County Airport. Valet parking with a car wash and/or detailing  proves effortless for the overbooked business traveler.

Orange County Airport’s Frequent Flyer Program

Over the last two years, Orange County Airport has been bolstering its international status. With daily service from Canada and Mexico, the U.S. Global Entry program offers convenience for the frequent SNA airport  passenger, traveling to or from Mexico or Canada.

The application fee for the Global Entry program, which expedites  frequent travelers via specific airlines, imposes a one time application fee of $100. (The application fee is non-refundable).  After travelers’ applications have been reviewed, applicants receive an email to schedule an in person interview. (The Global Entry program entails an application, interview and passing various security eligibility requirements).

Pre-Security + Baggage Claim Dining

Many US airports do not have restaurants or dining areas before the security check in.  At Orange County Airport, new arrivals grab a bite while waiting for a ride. In fact, airport SNA houses two eateries before the check-in and accessible via baggage claim.

At the pre-securtity check in of Terminal A, Zov’s GRAB AND GO lives on the departure level. This place is good for a quick coffee, yogurt or baked good.  Then, at Terminal B, breakfast, lunch and dinner generally accommodates those with limited time. Both eateries are accessible for non-airline travelers.

Onsite print ticket kiosks

For the traveler, who does not have access to a printer, Orange County Airport houses airline ticket printer kiosks throughout the lobby and close to the airline ticket counters. Although 8-different commercial airlines offer the convenience, these self serve kiosks are not available via Interjet and AirTran Airways.
